Privacy Policy
Effective: August 23, 2026 · Last updated: August 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Nakha Foods LLC ("Nakha Foods," "we," "us") collects through nakhafoods.com, why we collect it, and who we share it with. It reflects what our website and ordering systems actually do today, not a generic template.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, depending on how you interact with our site:
Identity and contact information
Name, email address, and phone number — for example, when you submit our contact form, apply for a wholesale account, place an order, or create a retailer account.
Business information (wholesale applicants and approved retailers)
Legal business name, DBA/store name (if different), business type, website, and reseller permit number, where applicable. Reseller permit information is used to evaluate and verify a wholesale account and for our own tax and accounting compliance — see our Wholesale Terms & Conditions for more detail.
Business and delivery addresses
The business address on a wholesale application or account, and any delivery address you provide for a wholesale order or a local consumer delivery order.
Order information
The products, quantities, and prices in your order, your order and payment status, and your order history with us.
Payment and transaction information
We use Stripe to process payments — see "Payment Information" below for exactly what that means and what we do not store.
Technical and site information
A small number of cookies and a browser-local cart — see "Cookies and Local Storage" below. We use Google Analytics (via Firebase) to understand how visitors use our site and to improve it — see "Service Providers We Use" below for details. We do not use advertising trackers, behavioral-ad tracking, or A/B-testing tools of any kind.
How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Process and fulfill orders and payments
- Arrange and manage local delivery
- Review, approve, and administer wholesale accounts
- Respond to customer support and general inquiries
- Maintain accounting, invoicing, and financial recordkeeping
- Detect and prevent fraud and protect the security of our systems
- Comply with applicable tax, accounting, and other legal obligations
Service Providers We Use
We rely on a small number of established service providers to run our business. Each processes information on our behalf, for the purposes described in this policy, and is not permitted to use it for its own advertising purposes.
Stripe (payments)
Stripe processes all payments on our site. See "Payment Information" below for details, and Stripe's own privacy policy for how Stripe itself handles information.
Zoho Books (accounting)
We use Zoho Books for accounting, invoicing, and financial recordkeeping. Order, payment, and — for wholesale accounts — business contact and address information may be shared with Zoho Books where necessary for these purposes.
Firebase and Google Cloud (hosting and infrastructure)
Our website, order data storage, and account sign-in are built on Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure. This is the infrastructure our systems run on, not a service we use to advertise to you or track you across other websites.
Resend (transactional email)
We use Resend to deliver operational emails — order confirmations, order status updates, wholesale account setup, and payment confirmations. We do not currently send marketing or promotional email through this or any other provider.
Google Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
We use Google Analytics, via Firebase, to understand how visitors use our site — which pages are viewed, general usage patterns — so we can improve it. This is a usage-measurement tool, not an advertising service: we do not use it for behavioral advertising, and we have disabled Google Signals (the feature that would otherwise enable cross-device/advertising-related tracking) for this site. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google itself handles this information.
Payment Information
Nakha Foods LLC is the merchant and seller for every order placed on this site — Stripe is our payment processor, not the seller. When you pay by card, your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment system; we do not receive or store your full card number.
Consumer (retail) orders may currently be paid by card only. Approved wholesale accounts may pay by card or, where approved, by ACH/US bank transfer, also processed through Stripe.
Stripe may collect and process additional information as needed for payment processing, fraud prevention, and its own regulatory obligations, under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use a small, functional set of cookies and browser storage, plus measurement cookies set by Google Analytics — no advertising or cross-site behavioral-tracking cookies exist on this site today.
- Session cookies, set only when a staff member or approved wholesale retailer signs in, to keep that session secure and signed in.
- A language-preference cookie, set once you choose a language, so we don't ask again on your next visit.
- A shopping cart stored in your browser's local storage (not on our servers), so your cart is there when you come back — this is never sent anywhere except to us when you check out.
- Google Analytics measurement cookies (for example, cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id>), used to distinguish visitors and measure site usage — see "Google Analytics (Firebase Analytics)" above.
Data Retention
We keep order, payment, and accounting records for as long as reasonably necessary for tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping purposes. Wholesale account and application information is kept for as long as an account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for our business records. If you have questions about a specific record, contact us using the details below.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including relying on established providers (Stripe, Firebase/Google Cloud) that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our website and ordering systems are directed at businesses and adult consumers, not children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our business or practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
